I am semi-retired, after having served as director of kpcc counseling for over thirty years.

I have a small practice in pastoral counseling called Stillpoint WV, offering emotionally focused therapy for individuals and couples

I teach psychodynamics (fear of feelings) to psychiatrist residents at WVU School of Medicine, Charleston Division

I offer trainings in Motivational Interviewing, Critical Incident Stress Management, Cultural Sensitivity, and Trauma Informed Care throughout WV  

I am the Pastor / Spiritual Leader at Unity of Kanawha Valley Church on Bridge Road in Charleston  

I have lots of credentials, some of them even helped me to be a better therapist and person. What really matters, I think, is how you feel when you are with the person you have hired to help you.
